Office Mobile 2010并不是唯一一种可以在手机上使用Office 2010的方式，微软曾经表示Office Web Apps也就是网络版Office 2010也可以在手机上使用。

1. SharePoint Workspace Mobile 2010
Office Mobile 2010 Beta 中新增了 SharePoint Workspace Mobile 客户端，允许用户登录 SharePoint 服务器，浏览文件夹或查看/编辑/同步文件。但 SharePoint Workspace Mobile 仅支持 SharePoint 2010 服务器，不支持 2007 版(见下右图)。
2. Word Mobile 2010 Beta
微软在 Office Mobile 2010 的一大改进就是增强了对 Office 文档格式的支持，尽可能地保证例如表格、图表、字体、SmartArt 图像等的样式。而除此之外，Word Mobile 2010 Beta 似乎并没有更显着的更新。
3.Excel Mobile 2010 Beta
据微软称，Excel Mobile 2010 Beta 现已支持超过 140 项函数，部分是之前并未在移动版 Office 中推出的。
4.PowerPoint Mobile 2010 Beta
PowerPoint Mobile 2010 增加了一项叫作“Presentation Companion”演示助手工具，允许用户控制当前 Windows Mobile 手机已连接的 PC 端所播放的幻灯片，或者查看其注释(PC 端需安装 PowerPoint 插件)。
Office Mobile 2010只能在Windows Mobile 6.5或更高版本上运行，无法支持WM的任何旧版本。
Office Mobile 2010 Beta 中的 OneNote Mobile 2010 仍为旧版程序，而 Outlook Mobile 2010 不包括在此次 Beta 版本中。大家除了直接用手机下载安装 Office Mobile 2010 Beta 之外，也可在 PC 端直接购买再通过手机安装
